Antique Moroccan Berber Door, c. Late 19th Century

An ornate late 19th-century Moroccan Berber door or decorative panel, crafted from dark wood and richly decorated with bone, mother-of-pearl and metal inlay.

The rectangular panel features three horizontal registers divided by metal strips and geometric bone inlay. The upper section has three carved arches with crescent and six-pointed star motifs, while the central section features a keyhole-shaped arch surrounding a floral design. The lower section contains two oval motifs formed from curved bone segments, each enclosing a six-pointed star.

The door has a strong decorative quality and works well displayed as a wall-mounted architectural fragment or as part of an eclectic interior.
