French Provincial Ladder-Back Carver Chairs

A pair of late 19th C French Provincial carver chairs with classic ladder-back frames and hand-woven rush seats.

The shaped top rails feature carved floral and crest decoration, while the curved armrests and cabriole front legs give the chairs their traditional country character. Turned wooden stretchers connect the legs and provide additional stability.

The woven rush seats add a practical finish suited to dining rooms, kitchens and country-style interiors.
