Hand Thrown Blue Ceramic Urn Vessel with Twin Handles

A hand thrown ceramic urn style vessel has a rounded body that tapers to a flared foot. A short neck rises to a thick rolled rim, with a pair of loop handles joining the rim to the shoulder.

The vessel is finished in a glossy blue glaze with natural tonal variation across the surface with a darker band around the lower body. The underside of the foot is left unglazed, revealing the natural light buff coloured clay beneath.

This is a decorative pottery piece with a timeless shape that works well on a shelf, sideboard or table.Height: 42cm
