Painted 19th C Blanket Box

An antique pine blanket box with a hinged lid, weathered whitewashed and blue-grey paintwork, and simple bracket feet.

The interior includes a built-in candle box, a traditional feature designed to store candles separately from the main contents. The worn paint and distressed finish reflect the chest's age and previous use.

A practical storage piece suited to bedrooms, hallways or living spaces, with plenty of character and a useful interior for storing blankets, linens and household items.
