Vintage 5ft Drainage Spade, Trenching & Grafting Spade

This vintage drainage spade, also known as a trenching or grafting spade, measures an impressive 5ft long. It features a long, narrow blade designed for digging clean, deep trenches for drainage, cables and other groundworks with minimal disturbance.

Fitted with a traditional wooden T-handle and a heavy-duty riveted socket, it was built for demanding agricultural and landscaping work. The blade has developed a rich dark patina, while the wooden shaft shows the character of years of use.
