This pair of vintage wooden spindle back chairs, often called Penny Chairs, features round dish shaped seats and a classic stick back design with simple turned detail on the outer spindles. The bases have turned legs with a turned H stretcher for support. They are solid wood, likely elm or beech, with a light tone and an authentic worn finish that reflects years of use in a country kitchen or dining setting.
