This vintage Danforth style ship anchor features a folding fluke design that allows it to fold flat for storage. The remaining paint has worn away over time, revealing exposed metal with an authentic weathered surface and natural rust.

The shank retains its original ring for attaching rope or chain, while the crossbar sits below in the traditional Danforth design. The folding mechanism moves as intended, allowing the flukes to lie flat when not in use.

The weight and aged finish give this vintage ship anchor plenty of character. Ideal for a coastal home, garden, beach hut or maritime collection, it also works well as a display piece in a nautical themed interior.
