This Victorian toleware flour bin is a large, original 19th-century piece made from painted tin with a faux wood grain finish.
The front shows the original “FLOUR” lettering. The hinged lid opens and closes smoothly and secures with a metal hasp and clasp. The bin was built for heavy use in kitchens and bakeries, and it still feels solid and sturdy.
You can use it to store laundry, logs, or pet food, or as a display piece in a shop, café, or bakery. It works well in farmhouse, rustic, and industrial interiors where one strong period item can define the space.
The surface shows wear and patina from age and use, which reflect its history and add to its character.
