Antique George III mahogany chest of drawers dating to the late 18th or early 19th century. Flat front design with the classic two short over two long drawer layout and bracket feet. Made from mahogany with a deep, rich patina. Decorative cross-banding and fine string inlay add subtle detail. Fitted with brass swan neck drop handles. Built with traditional solid drawer linings that show the quality of craftsmanship from this period.

Shows wear including small chips and blemishes in keeping with the item’s age. One of the inlaid brass lock surrounds is missing.
